Fairmont Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 120 bed facility located in beautiful Amherst County. A place for living, Fairmont Crossing is designed to mirror all that is best about Amherst County. The hilltop setting of the building allows an unbroken view of the countryside and the mountains beyond.
We offer both short-term and extended stays to meet the individual needs of our residents. Designed to create a unique home-like experience, our facility is divided into four “neighborhoods” promoting comfortable areas for dignified, personalized care.
Public gathering areas are spacious and welcoming with ample room to accommodate resident activities as well as community events. Fairmont Crossing offers nutritional dining, with a gracious restaurant atmosphere and choices in food. This is accomplished by having meals prepared in the main kitchen and served to residents by dining and health care staff from the serving kitchen on the dining room floor.

A barber and beauty shop are also within the building.
The facility features circular floors, a benefit for wandering residents because it brings them back to their starting place. The courtyard can be easily monitored, yet is self-contained, and each unit can be set up as a closed unit should it be needed.
